I made a book with the text from 'Nightfall' by Isaac Asimov. As the story progresses, the pages get darker and the line spacing gets smaller.

Können wir KI-Systemen nicht verpflichtend wenigstens die guten alten Robotergesetze von Isaac Asimov einbauen?
Besonders das ergänzte „Nullte Gesetz“ sollte Mandatory sein: „Ein Roboter darf die Menschheit nicht verletzen oder durch Passivität zulassen, dass die Menschheit zu Schaden kommt“.
Wäre nicht zu viel verlangt! Über sowas wird m.E. viel zu wenig gesprochen.
(jaja, ich weiß - Fortschritt keine Fesseln anlegen und Kriminelle könnten ja trotzdem…)

Dopo aver letto qualche anno fa "Storie della tua vita", sto leggendo ora "Respiro". #TedChiang è uno scrittore meraviglioso, con una non comune capacità di immaginare e raccontare storie, che utilizza la #fantascienza come i grandi, da #Asimov a #Lem (passando per #Dick): non un circo di astronavi, alieni e tecnologia futuristica più o meno verosimile, ma come allegoria per affrontare temi profondi, umanissimi e comuni della vita di ciascuno. Consigliatissimo.

@palasta I didn't intend to dismiss your question, but to suggest that Stuart #Russel's _Haman Compatible_ is a good place to start if you want to think deeply about incentives and regulations for #AI, especially for warfare. And personally I respect #Asimov a lot. Especially his short stories. He wrote more than 100 books.
