Earlier this week I attended #ascend2023. Yes, 2 big aerospace conventions in 1 month, and it was quite the contrast of locations, topics, and experiences.

While IAC is international and agency focused, ASCEND is more about American aerospace and private industry. It was fascinating to hear the different perspectives and missions of government versus private. Not to say there weren’t foreign and agency representatives at ASCEND, but the vibe was very different in Las Vegas than in Baku.

I’ve spent all of this afternoon working on my presentation for #ASCEND2023. It still needs a bit more work, but it is coming along. I’m very excited to be giving this presentation and really pleased with my work on the written component- but I’m also really happy conference season is coming to an end and I can get back to actually not working on the weekends.
