    At 1046 PM CDT, a confirmed large and extremely dangerous tornado was
    located near Mountain View, moving east at 35 mph.

    This is a PARTICULARLY DANGEROUS SITUATION. TAKE COVER NOW!

    HAZARD...Damaging tornado.

    IMPACT...You are in a life-threatening situation. Flying debris may
    be deadly to those caught without shelter. Mobile homes

    Rapid storm development is underway in central to southwest Missouri and northwest Arkansas.

    Storms are expected to become supercells with very large, damaging hail and a few tornadoes. This threat will spread across Missouri, northern Arkansas and western Illinois through the afternoon.

  12. MODERATE RISK: Regional Severe Weather Outbreak

    Intense supercells expected this afternoon into tonight across mid-Mississippi, Ohio and Tennessee Valleys. Primary threats include strong, potentially long-track tornadoes, very large hail (3+ inches possible in MO/AR), and damaging winds 65-85 mph increasing through tonight.

    The greatest tornado risk is in MO, IL, IN and KY. Significant hail threat extends from AR/OK/TX to OH Valley.

  16. A significant #tornado is currently ongoing, located near/over #Monette, #Arkansas. This storm has been able to tap into the extremely favorable environment (1000+ J/kg CAPE, ample shear and forcing) over the last hour or so. An enhanced area of 0-1km SRH of around 250 on top of the right-exit region of a 120kt 500mb jet streak has allowed it to produce a reported strong tornado.
