Community members organized by LUCHA have been showing up to Mesa City Council every other Monday to demand the city end its 287g agreement with ICE. The program allows Mesa PD to act as immigration enforcement. Families have been separated and continue to be impacted. Next meeting: Jun 1 at 5:30 PM.
