    Air tankers and firefighting helicopters are in the air over our home as #SouthernOregon experiences its first, major wildfire of the season in the Applegate Valley. The small hamlet of Ruch is under a ‘go now’ evacuation order, and the larger historic village of Jacksonville is advised to ‘be ready’. 3 tankers and 3 heli’s currently in operation.
