I really wish Woody Allen had had nothing to do with the #Antz movie.
I fully unironically love that film. It's great. It's beautiful and it's an anti-war + trade union/socialism ad.
The soundtrack slaps.
It has everything you need from a film. Inc Christopher Walken.But now I feel weird watching it because... Allen is a weirdo I do not want to support.

Today's notable #animation event is the release of #DreamWorks' #Antz a whole 26 years ago today.
Amusingly it was released only a month before #Pixar's A Bug's Life which also features anthropomorphic ants.
Even more amusingly, animation has a history of competing studios releasing films with extremely similar aspects. Both MGM and Warner Bros. released piano themed shorts in the same season back in 1947.
Antz is a bit of an acquired taste. What piece of animation is yours?
