#Moonray for #Blender add-on, is the first add-on for the render engine developed by #DreamWorks and made open source while ago, unfortunately you have to build it, however there instruction for CentOS and Rocky Linux but I guess it works also in other similar distro like Alma Linux and Fedora, most professional applications works smoothly with RedHad compatible distros, Bu I've installed RenderMan in Ubuntu so nothing is impossible.

#Moonray the #Dreamworks in house #render is now available for free and is #opensource too, after while of code cleaning, this is an other render #engine. I lost the count of #renderengine.
Now only the add-on for Blender :)

The exciting good news: #DreamWorks is open sourcing their production render software!
The still good news: It's not just just the actual rendering programs, but also the supporting libraries and assets.
The bad news: You will need some SERIOUS hardware to run it
Still though, this is downright excellent news for independent producers.
