'Concealed antiaromaticity' aims to provide a term and conceptual framework to (1) help resolve the current discussion around (anti)aromaticity in molecules with both formal 4n and 4n+2 π-electron systems, (2) help researchers to understand the behaviour and properties of such molecules, and (3) help further the rational exploration of compounds with the described properties and features.
