I have just one official City Council account on Meta platforms, all with the handle @TOCCNewman. I've already reported this anonymous coward to Meta. Meta initially rejected a takedown request but quickly reconsidered, for which I am grateful.
Beware of imitations! When I write something, I sign my name to it.
Grateful to several friends who quickly spotted this.

Aaaaand this is the bit where they give away that this is based on copypasta from US influence campaigns. As anyone who votes in NZ elections would know, our *whole country* doesn't require ID when voting.
