    Document Colour Tracking Dots, or yellow dots, are small systematic dots which encode information about the printer and/or the printout itself. This process is integrated in almost every commercial colour laser printer. This means that almost every printout contains coded information about the source device, such as the serial number.

  2. @tanepiper @Patrickstewart There was a case in Germany in 2018 that ruled #anonymisation wasn't enough because it was possible to trace back the person linkedin.com/pulse/data-anonym. The #ICO in the UK produced a guidance on true #anonymization & talks about the "motivated intruder test". ico.org.uk/media/about-the-ico. Both EU/UK seem aligned but #courtcases are still too far & few between to establish a solid #commonlaw on this aspect of the right to be forgotten in #GDPR.
