    Rumoured results from Birmingham in the Mayor Against the West Midlands:

    ConLab A: 80,251
    ConLab B: 66,296
    Ind-Yakoob: 42,953
    Three others: about 20,000

    In 2012, we were asked if we wanted a "strong mayor".

    No: 120,611
    Yes: 88,085

    "No mayor" has beaten all candidates.

    Whichever ConLab "wins" tonight's count has no democratic mandate. At all.

    Always respect the will of the people, not just when it's convenient.
