We got #Ambre running on #visionOS. 🤩

#CloudKit syncing using #NSPersistentCloudKitContainer doesn’t seem to be working. Will investigate more later, the error given is

- Missing Entitlement" (8); "Trying to initialize a container without an application ID”

@stroughtonsmith Isn’t this what NSPersistentCloudKitContainer handles for us? One can set it to automatically fix conflicts by taking whatever was saved the latest. It’s not the most elegant solution, but it can’t possibly know how to solve conflicts in custom entities. It’s a bit difficult to set it up, but once you got it figured out it just works. We use the same setup for #Ambre, #Aqwitty and #Lysten and it just works 😄

@MuseumShuffle the answer is yes, it’s possible. We do it in #Ambre when sharing a recipe for example. On tap we upload the recipe to the public CloudKit zone, then share the associated URL using #ShareLink

First try at making #Carnitas! If it turns out good I’ll post the recipe in the #Ambre Gallery.
