The ~2 hour frantic period where ppl hit the refresh button on a dozen browser tabs every few seconds to find the jewels of #AmazonVine before everyone else finds it. And because the amount and times of the drops are variable, literally, if you snooze you lose.
This might be a sign of late-stage Capitalism, where poor people desperately cling to their Gold status, enabling them to "order" items valued over $100, but end up having tons of junk shipped to their homes before ending up at Goodwill.

Hilarious stuff.
"No Hunger Games tonight?"
Commentary on the nature of a mad rush to "order" #AmazonVine items before they fly off the shelf in a few seconds after they appear.
"Recommended for you will be renamed to Nothing for you; Available for all will be renamed to Car Parts for all; Additional items will be renamed to Unwanted items."Commentary on the nature of Amazon Vine tabs that are rarely useful; ppl simply keep open search tag tabs and hit refresh.

So... so far I got a $5 charge back on my original payment method.
Yes!
Well... except that there is no original payment method because this is Amazon fucking Vine. They send me items for free so that I can review them.
A complaint has also been sent to "a team." But I think if I hold my breath about this one, I'm going to die.
😬

#Amazon customer service has gone down the drain.
Vine is asking me to review an item I've reviewed already.
I asked for a chat. Of course, the first line of defense is a robot who does not understand anything to anything. :headache:
Then I got an associate who is way over his head.
"Have you logged out and logged in?"
Yes, but not in the way that you suggest.
Since Amazon decided to send me into enshittification land, my aim now is to get out of there as painlessly as possible.
Lying mode engaged!
"Did you rebuild your house?"
"Yes."
"Did you try divorcing and remarrying your wife?"
"Yes."
"Did you try dunking your head in yogurt?"
"Yes."

A small group of #Amazon #Vine #Review folks use #AI to write their reviews instead of testing the products and writing the reviews like they are meant to.
As an #AmazonVine reviewer, it pisses me off no end.
This is the worst I've seen in a long time, considering that the world-changing tool is a bit of flimsy plastic. I am sure the "reviewer" never even opened the box to look at it, let alone test it.
It's not like these are hard to spot. Come on Amazon! 99% of Viners are NOT like this.

I'm really loving this Amazon Vine stuff! Here's my picks from the last few days, all (well, most...) is stuff I was gonna be getting anyway.
My local delivery driver(s) have been making a lot more stops by my place recently.
