Agreed. Of course we do.
I used the word #altruistic in making my comment. I don’t think of Jeff Bezos, owner of WaPo as “altruistic” … despite any charity he might exercise to enhance his taxable income position.

I appreciate the “copy” link, and I understand providing #attribution for good material; I just wish the substack attribution link were not a live link but rather a simple text reference instead. IMHO truly #altruistic efforts don’t originate from #revenue generating #commercial platforms like Substack. If that seems too “purist”, oh well. Cheers & Beers!
