@Luke_Drury and it seems that #TheRoyalSociety is not a signatory of this declaration and Musk is still a FRS ! All the societies in the #ALLEA should put some pressure on the RS to throw him out, THAT would be a strong sign, much stronger than a declaration. Otherwise the ALLEA should excude the RS from its members, to be coherent with their statement

A little news from Ireland on this front - one of the projects funded by the National Open Research Forum #NORF under the 2022 fund is to scope out a #DiamondOA model for Ireland: See Open Access Transition Programme here: https://norf.ie/orf-projects-announcement/ There are several countries ahead on this topic so no wheel reinvention is required, just significant community work at a local level. #OA #OpenResearch #OpenScience #ALLEA @dri_ireland
