Is this anything?
War of the Worlds, but instead of invading ships, a Martian meteorite crashes to Earth and begins spreading alien plant life. Midway through the story, keen observers will realize the main plant character is actually Audrey 2.

A very interesting paper concerning the terminology of exotic plants in #France edited by G.Fried and Collegues! This is a very usefull text for all real fieldecologist and field botanist working in continental France -and for this its written in French. Could also be interesting for neighbouring regions in Germany and Switzerland! For collegues not reading French, #Deepl provides very good translations!

Non-native plants migrate north as climate change advances, study finds
As climate change progresses, the chance of southern plant species spreading to northern regions increases. In Europe and America, many of the alien plant species come from their own continent. They usually originate in warmer regions closer to the equator—a phenomenon that could be exacerbated by climate change.
