This is my…second? Maybe third? Time picking up #alcoholMarkers.

Drawn with pencil and then inked. Then, surprisingly, easily colored with markers.

This is the first time I’ve tried to do, like, “dimension”, and despite a little bit of trouble with a terrible off brand acrylic marker in a botched attempt at adding highlights, I’m pretty pleased with how it came out!

Meet Arnov Volk, “Wraith”. He’s a completely legitimate businessman with nothing but my best interests at heart. Or, well, as far as I can tell, anyway. This is an npc that was generated in #ironsworn #starforged for my #soloRPG campaign.

The very first task he gave my character was to rescue a bunch of exiled pirates by bringing them medicine and then, eventually, evacuating them from their now-revealed secret base.

Sigh, and yes, I can see that he is cross eyed. Now.

a #drawing made of #alcoholmarkers i've done this week. i'm really-really humble to show my artworks. this artwork is good-looking, but not satisfied with what done. :bloberm:
it was hard time, i barely could find a motivation to do any progression in anything. lately i've been practicing playing drums (my favorite instrument) and guitar to make some album based on verses i've written before, but i need bass guitar to spice songs up.. switching jobs to afford it.. hard to be sentimental. :blobsobglasses:
while i've practiced blending colors, i've worsened the art. colors transcended outlines and i had to put a correctional fluid onto that.. later colors were deemed and shiny, which is not what i wanted. i've put a slight restoration through GIMP. this art is just an experiment with alcohol markers and repeating concept before (anime character dressed in fashionable clothing in front of well-known art).
it is said "music is my drug", isn't it? then today's fentanyl were songs "Touch", "Sweet" and "Apocalypse" by Cigarettes After Sex. such hopeless mood when listening, as well as Alice In Chains, Staind and Radiohead.

I wanted to have some of the pinkish blends in the strawberry and overall it's darker than I intended. Also it is a bit streaky. But on the other hand it's the first time I painted an area that's so big with alcohol markers (paper size is A4).

I find most of tutorials for alcohol markers a bit annoying because they are like: You'll need these 5 kinds of red and these 5 kinds of orange and this 5 kinds of yellow etc.
I'm a beginner and wanted to try it out and only got a small set of colors?!
