L’ospedale #AlMaAmadani ha riferito di aver accolto una bambina di 4 anni con una ferita alla testa causata da colpi d’arma da fuoco israeliani nel quartiere di #Al_Tuffah, a est della città di Gaza, mentre una donna è rimasta uccisa e altre 2 sono state ferite in un attacco con droni ad #Al_Zawaida, nella zona centrale di Gaza, nelle prime ore di martedì.

Un altro palestinese è stato ucciso da un attacco con un drone in una sartoria situata nei pressi di una scuola nel campo profughi di #Nuseirat, nella zona centrale di Gaza, secondo quanto riferito dall’ospedale #AlAwda.

After a siege on northern Gaza’s al-Awda Hospital for two weeks, Israeli troops have forced its staff and patients to evacuate it, says its director, Dr Mohammed Salha.

It was the last functioning hospital in the north.

“There is no one providing any medical services now,” Salha said.

È stato poi trasferito nella prigione di #Ofer, dove è morto il 19 aprile.

“Non riuscivamo a riconoscerlo”, ha detto un medico palestinese che lo ha visto nella struttura di detenzione.

Al-Awda Hospital in northern Gaza has been under siege since 19 May, with no one allowed to leave or enter; 148 hospital staff, 22 patients and their companions are still trapped inside.

Medical staff inside the hospital reported an attack on 20 May, with snipers aiming at the building and an artillery rocket hitting its fifth floor, according to dr Tedros.

According to The Guardian also #ActionAid has released a statement on the #alawda hospital in Northern #Gaza:
"Our understanding and fear is that the hospital will be bombed when that deadline expires." The organisation said it condemns in the strong terms “any act that puts innocent lives at risk”, adding that threatening a hospital is an “egregious” violation of humanitarian law.

Patients and medical staff in #Gaza must be protected. 2 hours notice for #alawda hospital, as #MSF is reporting, is not enough. As #AmnestyInternational put it, also the initial announcement of the #IDF that gave people 24 hours to leave northern Gaza 'for their safety and protection' was "an impossible demand that even the Israeli army spokesperson has admitted cannot be implemented in one day".
