The Rush Fifty Something Tour is off to a spectacular start with the reinvigorated voice of Geddy Lee and Anika Nilles' drumming technique. Aimee Mann's first live performance with Rush to sing her parts on "Time Stand Still" was epic as well. And a relief that they finally hired on a keyboardist instead of trying to play all of the instruments at once.

In November 1995, Aimee Mann released her second studio album. I first got to know her with her Magnolia soundtrack and then later during my study years when we used «Save Me» for a small film we made.
There’s something about her meandering melodies that is so unique and immediately sounds like her, and I love that ❤️
Aimee’s one of the artists that are a core part of my OS – I’m always delighted when her beautiful songs make an appearance in my thoughts.

One of Aimee's saddest-yet-most-beautiful albums. No matter how bad a place she was in, it produced some terrific songs.
Very hard to find on vinyl for a long time (only on a long-discontinued MoFi release), and now out in a great new edition with new Seth cartoons, extensive song notes, etc.
She's touring this album this year. I suggest seeing her if you can.
