Makes Sense 2 Me
Like a gentle breeze on a sunny afternoon.
https://www.riaa.com/ Read article hereMUSIC COMMUNITY INTRODUCES NEW LABELING PROGRAM TO DISTINGUISH GENERATIVE AI IN SOUND RECORDINGS
It’s about time that something was introduced to clearly identify how the use of artificial intelligence is being used in music. After all the hype settles down and minds turn to the next big issue for people to hate on, this feature will help the ones that don’t mind people using some AI in their endeavors.
I support this design and will gladly add it to my cover work. I especially like the idea of separating how AI is used by having the two symbols. The solid black one showing everything was generated with AI, while the white one symbolizing that human talent of one kind or another is being mixed with AI.
This will be a snappy feature if you hate the idea of the song you just liked is found to be AI and you just can not imagine ever listening to that AI slop again. [yes I’m being sarcastic]
I do believe that the symbol is needed like the Parental Advisory was when it came out. Both help to easily identify albums or songs that you might not want to listen to saving you both time and money. I really hope the world’s music scene all adapts these symbols with an open mind.
With that said I am closing this post with a dust collector I made when first starting this journey.

Elon Musk's legal challenge against OpenAI just crumbled. A jury ruled he waited too long, dismissing claims of a foundational betrayal. But this isn't just about a lawsuit's timeline. It's a stark reminder that even the titans of tech are bound by the same temporal chains as the rest of us. The future they build, the AI they unleash, operates on a different clock, one that never ...

On The Edge
As the weekend starts…
The Friday morning coffee jolt is relative small compared to yesterday’s. With that said I am still cruising in the fast lane but not red lining the RPM’s.
Your final three words this week are:
COACH
CLASH
CLASP✅
This morning as I clasped my hands in prayer seeking guidance for the days journey a calmness overcame me. After the crash of yesterday as the overload of coffee wore off rather quickly I spent the day sleeping. I would wake up to get rid of some coffee and go right back to sleep.
Today is a new day and with it comes new hope. As you know I am trying to navigate my way through AI and produce an album using my voice not as a generation but through real life recordings. The ten songs I have I used suno pro to help me make. However as I learn more about the DAW I have [Mixcraft 10.6 pro studio] I am learning more about midis and vst’s and how they can help me move into more original music. I don’t really have anyone who is being a coach offering tips to ensure a smoother transition outside of YouTube videos from Acoustia in their university classes I found after purchasing their product.
This is all good for me in the sense that I am not just putting the first thing I’m given from suno out as music. The hours I’ve spent learning to write prompts for my songs in suno might not be heard when comparing my songs to other people using suno with quick prompts but it has offered me insight into my journey [which I still don’t understand fully].
Every song I made in suno is the result of changing my prompts, BPMs, key played in, words changed as needed and style of music. I usually generate between 50 to well over 100 versions before I find one that I like enough to share.
In the meantime I keep my eye on the ever changing laws of AI music as well as how the public opinions clash. I gave up on trying to make any videos to go with my songs for the simple reason of copyright law. This might change later on in my journey but for now I am wanting to show that AI is not the evil thing it is being portrayed as. I believe that if AI is used as a learning tool instead of just another quick path to making money it can compliment or enhance a person hard work.
So here I am taking a stand, declaring my belief that AI is not some dark, evil thing that will destroy the world but a tool to help with unfulfilled dreams of many people who didn’t have the opportunities in life to pursue their goals. Here is part of a prompt I wrote to make the following song. I removed some of the prompt for personal reasons.
[not shown], the key of [not shown] Upbeat Honky-Tonk, Bright Grand Piano, Driving 4/4 Drums, [not shown], [not shown] Electric Bassline, [not shown] Electric Guitar Riffs, [not shown] BPM, [not shown] Clear Production
Weirdness 22%
Style Influence 67%
Audio Influence 88%
So here we are on the edge of another beautiful summer weekend. I hope you enjoy this post of the journey I am on, the song and most of all the weekend! Ernie Dawg.
PEACE & LOVE

Doing It My Way
Having fun on the first hump day of June.
Daily writing prompt Do you believe AI music is all slop? ✅ View all responsesNope. I think it all depends on what you want to get out of it. If you actually put a little time in anything it can turn out good. AI has helped all of us to make some killer images for our posts using the right AI prompts.
When I first started using AI to make music I was skeptical about if it would be slop or not. I had no clue what could be done with it but damn, it was fun.
Spotify pulled 70 million songs down calling them slop and turned around after making a deal with UMG and now are allowing people to remix songs on their site. Who says what slop is? More importantly why?
Money, it isn’t that hard to figure out.If a AI song hits number 1 on the charts which has happened, more than one person has liked it and somewhere someone said ‘I can make money off of this’. Not just the millions of people flooding the market with AI songs for ten cents a play but the heads of corporates who can and are changing the rules for their benefit.
So who draws the line? To me this is simple, let the music be heard and let the public decide, isn’t that what happened with rock & roll when it first came about ? Not everyone who hears AI music hates it straight away. Some people will listen to a song and be toe tapping along when all of a sudden they find out it is AI generated and instantly hate it. To me this is a closed mind reaction made by an insecure person to fit in a circle of public acceptance. In other words, sheep following a loud barking wolf into a open field.
It’s not new. It has happened before and I guarantee it will happen again. That’s the way the world turns. Not only in the realm of making AI music but in the human race to destruction. Follow the masses and we will keep you happy while showering hate into the air we all breath.
Enough of another rant and on to the answer. This is another song I’ve made for my radio dial 103.3 DM, a free station where AI music is promoted and heard for free. Is it slop? You tell me.
And now a song from the past that isn’t AI.

The EU AI Act does not stand alone.
It is the architrave of a regulatory ecosystem resting on seven pillars of EU law that continue to apply: data protection, data economy, digital services, cybersecurity, product safety, liability, and international framework.
