Sun’agri, one of the largest agricvoltaic farms in the world reports that vineyards intercropped with solar panels can increase yields up to 60%.
The solar panels reduce water loss from evapotraspiration and moderate temperature extremes. The microclimate they create decreases plant mortality and promotes healthy, carbon-rich soils.
