It was warmer than expected today, and the big dogs had to take lots of cooling off breaks in between rounds of chasing!

It was a very warm and sunny day, and we appreciated the shade of the trees!

In the morning the weather was tense, with a pressure front making it feel hot and chilly at the same time, and the air was very still. The dogs all felt it, and they began their hike just sniffing around and eating grass. But after a while the pressure lifted and the air cleared, and the dogs all got energized to run and play!

The rain let up, but it was still fairly gray and damp out. Perfect temperature for hiking though! The golden retriever in the pics today and yesterday has been boarding with me, and I have some very fun photos of her and her best friend to share over the weekend.
