"Sabotage" is a song by the American #rapRock group #BeastieBoys, released by #GrandRoyalRecords in January 1994 as the first single from their fourth studio album, #IllCommunication (1994). The song was written by the group and produced by them with #MarioCaldatoJr It features traditional rock instrumentation ( #AdRock on #guitar, #MCA on #bass, and #MikeD on #drums), turntable #scratches, heavily distorted #bassGuitar riffs and lead vocals by #AdRock.

@thewildiscalling compared us to @beastieboys in their review of “What Time Is Nasty?” referring to ‘a drip of funky flavour.’
Our absolute all time favourite heckle (so far) we’ve had is “The Beastie Dads” and we make no secret of our total adoration of just about everything recorded by the Beastie Boys. There are a few homages scattered across our material. Skylight said Too Cool was “Old School Rap Attitude… like the Beastie Boys.”
