2/ Today, Millie Vanillie, the oldest cat in the shelter, nearly 8 years old, has come to live with us and share her life with us.
Millie is the second rescue from the shelter. We have #SissyCat, adopted in September of 2021, and now #MillieCat
Millie spent more than 4 years at the shelter and was there when Sissycat was.
Penny and Millie know each other because since 2021, Penny normally goes to the shelter once per week just to socialize with the cats for an hour or so.
From the Humane Society:
"Congratulations to the sweetest old gal in town, Millie Vanillie 👏🐾Today was a very special day for Millie. Today is her adoption day, making her the newest family member to a very loving family. They are so excited to bring Millie into their lives and we can’t wait to see what life brings her way. Millie was our oldest cat resident, leaving shortly before her 8th birthday.
