AdGuard Home finally reached 1.0, at least as a beta, and I could not wait. Switched the Docker tag from latest to beta, backed up the config first, and it came up without complaints.
Everything in the UI is rebuilt. The dashboard is cleaner, the settings finally make sense, and the query log got proper sorting and filtering. They also say the new frontend is much lighter, which matches what I see.
Over the last 7 days my network made almost 220 thousand DNS queries, and 30% of them were ads that never reached my devices. One single device is responsible for more than half of all the queries, and now I really want to know which one.
One thing to keep in mind is that they switched to flexible versioning, so even minor releases can break things. Back up before you update!
