There was someone approved recently 9 generations out from the #Acadian displacement. It's real. If you can prove your Canadian ancestors, you can claim citizenship. It's not naturalization.

P'tit Belliveau, a one-of-a-kind musician from Nova Scotia who sings in Acadian French and English, put out an excellent country/synth-pop/hip-hop/metal album in March. I haven't stopped listening to it all year. This is definitely one of its quieter and prettier tunes.

However, #Chiac is not Acadian French (but a patois of #Acadian #French with many English and Mi'kmaq loanwords). P'Tit Belliveau is from #NovaScotia, whereas $Chiac is typically spoken in a part of #NewBrunswick.

An alkaline, nonorogenic granite intruded into #Avalonia in the #Silurian / #Ordovician as it cruised from peri-#Gondwana to #Laurentia, before assembling #Pangea in the #Acadian #Orogeny (#Devonian).
