when I lived in the SF bay area, I'd often go walking along the river trails. And whenever I got there within an hour or so of sunlight, I'd see grey foxes, often in trees. They are one of only two canids, as far as I know, which have tree-climing claws.

and so I was delighted to learn @KateShaw 's new episode covers grey foxes (and the distantly related red and arctic foxes):
