So, i was browsing the PC games at RetroGameTalk's Repo, mostly because I saw Jurassic Park Trespasser go up and I was curious what else they had.

Trespasser is a silly game, which I want to play and talk about. But something else caught my eye.

Blair Witch

Specifically:
Blair Witch volume 1: Rustin Parr
Blair Witch volume 2: The Legend of Coffin Rock
Blair Witch volume 3: The Elly Kedward Tale

All three games were published by Gathering of Developers, but all three games had different developers.
Terminal Reality, Human Head Studios and Ritual Entertainment respectively.

All games were released in 2000, within the space of 6 week. 4th Oct - 20th Nov.

They look a little like Resident Evil style games too, complete with fighting zombies/monsters.
I wonder if they all play the same, despite different developers.

This feels like a potential train wreck of a series of games and it just hits my curiosity in the best (maybe worst) possible way.

I used to play a lot of Alien vs. Predator 2 back in the day. In my opinion, one of the greatest first person shooters ever made.

It's also that introduced me to modding, as it featured a complete 3D level editor.

It ran on Lithtech Talon engine, a modified version from the one used for games as Tron and No One Lives Forever and others.

The game is now abandonware, since the studio was bought by Warner but the franchise fell in Disney hands.

@tankgrrl @petko except three issues:

1. One would still have to obtain an out-of-print disc and get it imported.
2. That still doesn't fix the fact that it's not legal even if one owns the disc (at least in any juristiction that cares)
3. If one has to pirate anyway, one may just torrent it anyway.

Granted, I don't shed a tear for companies that don't even want to sell me a legal copy.

It's just bad cuz I'd rather pay for a legit copy.
