I want to help keep the Fediverse going, so I boost frequently and follow a lot of people.
More recently, I have started to boost at least one #introduction a day. Some of those whose #introductions I boost are people with whom I have little in common other than being on Mastodon, but I want this to be more than an echo chamber.

My number one tip for people new to Mastodon is: make a new post, introduce yourself, include a bunch of hashtags, and add the hashtags #introduction and #introductions at the bottom. Make sure it's on the "public" privacy setting (that's the default). Maybe include some images? And then send.
People will follow, say hello, and boost. The hashtag will reach lots of servers and everyone on those servers following the hashtags will see you. :) Blammo! FAME.

I build small web things. The current one is MPTI, a political type test shaped like MBTI: 40 questions, four axes, one of 16 types.
I'm here because the constraint I care about most is one this place shares. Scoring runs in your browser; the server only increments anonymous counters. No record exists of what any one person answered.
Happy to talk typology, i18n, or building without collecting anything.

Hello People.
This is my first fediverse post, featuring my first #assembly64 program in #linux. I am a #student who is just getting into #cybersecurity and love contributing to #infosec, #lowlevel stuffs and #linuxkernel.
I love to program in #c, and use #archlinux btw. Looking for people to connect. I installed LinkedIn a few days ago for connecting with people and figured out that it was a #scam in jobmarket, just data feed into companies. (No offense, just in my opinion).
I was suggested to start learning #assembly64 by a random reddit user when I asked some questions about #c programming and how to get better at it. Currently learning #syscalls in linux, and I guess assembly programming alongside with c programming is helpful - I can understand syscalls and registers (for some extent).
Looking forward for friends to connect. Follow me and I will follow you back - provided that we have same or similar interests. I am also interested in #russian arts, languages and techs - I am not a Russian btw.

I don't believe I've ever posted an introduction on Mastodon.Art;
I'm from North Yorkshire in the UK, I work for a retail bank, I do art when I can, BA Fine Art, MA Art History. I love art that celebrates the mundane and everyday, I like painting in oils.
I'm a bit of an 80's refugee and love the music and culture from that era, I also enjoy fiddling with retro-computers from the 80's onward.

#introductionsA dragon has landed. This is my first post on this instance, on Mastodon, and my first thing on Fediverse in general. I used to be on 'that bird-themed place' before it became something I could not be a part of. So I left everything there behind 3 years ago.
Landing somewhere else has taken its time. Some alternatives were skipped, some instances considered. This place seems intuitively fitting! Perhaps it'll become my end game. At the very least it's a solid starting point.
