That #5randomthings tag made me remember something else. In elementary school we all had to take a typing course. This was sold to us as hugely important, since a typing certificate was required for office jobs.
They gave us these massive old typewriters. My fingers would always miss the keys, which hurt. Being a stubborn kid, I quit the course. It was hammered into me that I would not have a future. "Did I not want to become a secretary?!"
I still type weird, but I think I ended up ok. 😂😂

1. I once hitchhiked from Amsterdam to Finland by myself. Went really well! 🚗
2. I drink 2 coffees every morning, no breakfast. ☕
3. I only ended up in IT because I was involved in student activism and we always needed a website which I then learned to build. ✊
4. I lived in the US with actual Mormons for a year. 🙏
5. I very recently learned that it's 'cannoli', and not 'canneloni.' 😂

1. corona made me vegan. i was vegetarian for a long time, but being forced to stay at home and cook gave me the final push to go all in 😄
2. i'm a drinkable food addict. i replace at least one meal per day with jake food, but i've also tried a lot of other brands 🥤
3. i listen to podcasts for around 1h every day when trying to fall asleep 🎧
4. i didn't drive a car since i got my driving license and i'm not planning to either 🚗
5. in grammar school i specialized on languages (english, french, italian & latin) and only decided to go for computer sciences when i started university. worked out great, though 🤗

1) I love debunking conspiracy theory.
2) My first subscription to "Soldier of Fortune" magazine was in the 1970's.
3) I had a "M72 LAW" that "fell off the truck" on the way to Lake Michigan before I was a teen, until my dad took it away.
4) I actually have a couple doctorates, and love science, just don't tell anyone, I love playing the dumb jester.
5) I call my dog, "dog" even though he has a name, and I love him with all my heart.

1. I studied Tae Kwon Do for 7 years, spent about a year with my arm in a cast after breaking it, and haven't picked martial arts back up (yet).
2. There was a time I wanted to be an ethnomusicologist
3. I love spicy food (with flavour, not just raw heat!!) but hate the texture of peppers
4. I was homeschooled up to 8th grade
5. I seem to have lost my keys :thonking:

1: I've went to 12 schools from 1st grade to 12th. - No it was not Military Related.
2: I've been to All 50 US States. I lived in Hawaii, and Alaska. - Vermont was the last state on that list.
3: Was an Aircraft Mechanic in the US Air Force.
4: I was a night Manager of a Pizza Parlor in High School.
5: I prefer Cooking vs Wrenching on something. But I like both.

I wonder if I can get a fun hashtag game going? - I'm going to tag 5 people to participate, and hopefully they'll tag 5 other people.
