  1. The Qidi X-Max 3 carbon filter box has to be unscrewed from the printer bodily to change the carbon filter, because the rear support rail runs through it. It's possible to get the carbon filter in without removing the box, but once it's in it won't come back out. I asked Qidi support, and they confirmed that you have to remove the box.

@koz is the X-Plus 3 the same way?

I've started a design for a replacement carbon filter box that screws to the outside and doesn't have that rail in the way, and I'll add some HEPA filters to it to reduce microplastics. I'll use the same filters as the Nevermore v6 HEPA variant. However, since it's driven by an axial fan instead of a radial fan, I'll want to reduce back-pressure, so I'll probably use three parallel HEPA filters, whereas the Nevermore v6 with two radial fans uses just one filter.

  3. Turns out the single wedge works pretty well actually... But I already started the revision, so....

    Guess I'll make another anyway?

  5. need it to be a little longer, increase the front wedge, and lowered the back. Second print is running now.

  7. I'm set back up at my desk, and my laptop doesn't get the best ventilation, so my next print is going to be a draft for something to give it some airflow
