The Conservatives still have a 1% chance of winning government today, and we are a couple weeks out from election day.
Their support isn't actually very different, 44% for Liberals and 37% for Conservatives, but since Liberal support is much more spread out over the country than Conservatives (who tend to be concentrated in the Prairies), even small leads favour the Liberals heavily and Conservatives need far more support.
