Yeah! I just binged it- just finished. Never saw the movie - nor this series. I really liked it. Not very derivative, lots of plot shifts, very good plot arcs...

I just started watching 12 Monkeys, the TV series. It’s about a man traveling back in time to stop a pandemic, but it was made in 2015, the true before times. Should be interesting. #tv #12monkeys

12 Monkeys might be the best Gilliam movie. Just re-watched it for the first time post pandemic and it holds up much better than I expected it to. The fact it’s a gritty Philly time capsule only adds to its charm for me. Now I also see how it inspired the novel/movie The Time Traveller's Wife.

So, I started watching #Fringe again. When it comes to #isekai (a.k.a. #ParallelWorld) and #TimeTravel) type of #scifi, nothing beats “Fringe”
(Except the series finale/ending, I give that to #12Monkeys and another one I can't remember right now.)
I lost track how many times I've rewatched Fringe. I still haven't found anything like it.
Some say #StrangerThings is like Fringe. Is it true? Does it beat it, or at last at par with it? I have yet to watch Stranger Things. Or, something else in your mind?
