Microsoft Agent 365 is now Generally Available. So, it was time to do another content refresh for my A365 FAQ site:

Got Azure Sponsorship credits? Love using that Metro UI era portal that Microsoft offers for balance and usage monitoring? Of course you don't. So I built an app for it: https://link.jukkan.com/az-sponsor
A quick Python + Flask app combo that reads the Azure Commerce API. The data that isn't showing up in regular Azure Cost Management UIs is surfaced in this dashboard. Run it locally, configure a service principal, enjoy watching the credits 🔥.

I've been telling people Power Platform Dataflows is a dead feature for 3 years at least. The Power BI blog now confirms that any non-Fabric Dataflow is in Legacy mode.
The Gen2 Fabric Dataflow doesn't even support Dataverse as a target.🙄 Not that the Power Apps portal would surface the new version anyway. So, it's not officially "legacy" - just dead.

It's 2026. Mastodon app on Android still regularly gets stuck in a post loop. At this point, I'm ready to admit it's just a Groundhog Day feature that makes #Mastodon what it is. Rough around the edges, still worth it.

3 months after the Ignite "launch", Microsoft Agent 365 now has its own blog.
Still in preview and many things unclear, yet we do have more info. Which means it was time to update my A365 FAQ site that I created 3 months ago. Here it is:

RE: https://mstdn.social/@jukkan/115485919201317659
2 weeks ago, I opened a case with #Microsoft Privacy team so that I could finally unsubscribe from this active mailing list that no human is obviously managing anymore.
"Thank you for your mail. We need more information to investigate your question.
Please provide additional detail on your comment or question and we will be happy to assist you."
Then, just 🦗.
Seems like a corp the size of MS should have processes in place for #GDPR / #ePrivacy compliance.

Accessing the code behind Power Automate cloud flows is too damn hard. So I created a bookmarklet that helps you grab the flow JSON.
Now you can paste it to your favorite AI low-coding tool and ask it to review the logic. Click "Copy JSON" for full code, "Copy for AI" if you want to save tokens.
Do this:
1) Drag the button to your browser favorites.
2) Get GUID of your #PowerAutomate flow.
3) Open model-driven #PowerApps
4) Click bookmarklet, enter the GUID
5) Profit! -
I've got issues with the PPAC Know Issues UI. So, I decided to solve it via client-side scripting + Claude Code.
Enhance your Power Platform Admin Center experience with this Tampermonkey script, available in my GitHub repo:

Do you ever find yourself explaining to AI chatbots what your #Dataverse tables look like? Such as when trying to get them to spit out the right expressions for #PowerAutomate cloud flows?
Stop checking what your schema is, just copy-paste the details from the Web API with this bookmarklet: https://link.jukkan.com/bookmark

Did you know there's an XrmToolBox plugin that gives you a real-time monitor for the Power Platform solution import process, as well as import job details after completion? Well, I didn't, until I saw _n.SolutionManager in the Recently Updated list of Plugin Catalog:
https://xrm.jukkan.com/store/plugin/Greg.Xrm.SolutionManager
-
...And the award for the first Power Platform community tool update of 2026 in XrmToolBox Plugin Catalog goes to:
Plugin Trace Viewer by Jonas Rapp!!!🏆👏🎉
-
Anyone who builds or administers Power Platform or Dynamics 365 CRM solutions should be using XrmToolBox. The community tools are essentially for filling the gaps that Microsoft has left in the products, especially for power user scenarios.
"How can we make #XrmToolBox more approachable?" I thought, and then decided to try and build a modern catalog for the 380+ plugins. Now it's live:
-
The crazy part is that I'm not a developer. I could not create a new tool for #XrmToolBox since I'm just a #lowcode guy.
But with AI coding tools like Lovable and Claude Code, I was able to "vibe it". A modern React site on top of an OData feed from the main XrmToolBox site. No private data stored, not much of a risk in visualizing it with the help of LLMs.
Technically, I'm sure there are gaps and things to be tweaked. But getting this out there is pretty awesome.💪
-
I decided to spend 1h vibe-coding with #lovable on a Friday night.
I didn't get a working CRUD app, but at least I had time to create pics like this when the AI was trying to figure out why it can't insert a row into table it created a moment ago.

I remembered Claude can create and render Mermaid diagrams, too. So I asked it to describe Microsoft Agent 365 architecture, again from the customer's perspective. Now there's a new Architecture Overview section on the A365 FAQ site: https://a365-faq.jukkan.com/
-
I know y'all don't appreciate AI generated content, but I think this is one of the more ethical scenarios for it: using Claude Code to decipher WTF is this new Microsoft Agent 365 product they just launched.
At the start of #Ignite2025 keynote, I gave Claude a task to go through MS marketing pages and docs about #Agent365. After 2h, I got an FAQ website assembeld that cuts through some of the marketing BS of A365. The perfect job for robots to handle.
Here it is now: https://a365-faq.jukkan.com/

@[email protected] Worse is that a lot of this is self-inflicted (#fulltextsearch becoming "opt-in" in #Mastodon which is ignored in other #fediverse software like #Misskey which indexes everyone's posts anyway), and the #ActivityPub spec has specifically dealt with this issue which is to recursively forward every remote post an instance receive to every other remote instances they know of. This doesn't appear to be done for

What's it like to move from tech blogging to a newsletter? To start again? Here's my story so far: https://jukkaniiranen.com/2024/11/start-of-my-newsletter-journey/
From #WordPress to #beehiiv. From #MicrosoftMVP contributions to paid #newsletter subscriber content. In the end, it's just the same old me - and yet it's something brand new.

@jukkan Oh, #MicroEmacs. I think I ported that myself to the obscure HP1000 A-series minicomputer (running a very non-Unix OS called RTE-A) back in the 80s. (Or at least improved it a lot if it had already been ported.)
I was used to real #Emacs at university and wanted something similar at work, too. (The Emacs I learnt to use was the OG one, written in TECO, on the PDP-10 (DEC-20). GNU Emacs did not yet exist then.)
