The holy lamb is a sacrificial animal offered up at the Paschal feast at Passover in the Jewish religion. The lamb is also a Christian symbol and used by Freemasons to signify innocence.
This symbol of innocence is demonstrated by Masons wearing aprons of lambskin in their ritual work. The offering is also signified in the Scottish Rite during the Agabe once a year.
