I thought I was being eccentric, but I just found a translation of Racine where it's translated into Glaswegian Scots. Wow.

These were recorded, and from those recordings, a 30 minute promotional LP for distribution to radio stations was produced.
Eventually, it was released as Newman's third albumThere's songs from his first two albums, a couple of songs other people recorded and a couple of songs that would be released on Sail Away.
One of the very greatest songwriters.
