@statsguy I understand that constituents need access to council services at any time of week but why not just run two 4 day shift schedules and pay more on weekends.

@statsguy It's a government, a bureaucracy, it doesn't have a morality compass. As with all bureaucracies if it can target compliant people / easy to deal with people it will do so over actual violent thugs because it makes bureaucrats feel like they are doing something to justify their paycheck whilst dealing with people who aren't going to fight back. Much easier for them to be dealing with Palestine Action than to be dealing with ISIS

It's laughable though how easy it is to thwart #OrangeHitler's #ToddlerTirade. All a state governor has to do is call up the #NationalGuard *first*, beating him to the punch, and then there's no NG to deploy. What a shame! Because in this book you will find all the companies that belong to the #OilLobby. In addition, Stella Levantesi describes how this dirty industry engages in advertising and propaganda. She compares the industry and its advertising to the #TobaccoIndustry .
Both industries know full well that their products cause harm, but they continue to pursue their perfidious strategy because it earns them so much money.
Maybe you should look for a publisher and ask for a translation of the book
