Teaser trailer for a documentary coming to theaters and produced by a YouTuber I’ve subscribed to for quite a while.
This documentary includes interviews of ten #B17 crew members.
This was back when Americans fought fascism instead of embracing it.

My chiropractor brother was an #antivaxxer for decades, and I was unbelievably stupid and bought into the BS he was spouting. I’m just glad I broke myself out of it before social media was a thing.
“Studies have found that the cost of containing measles outbreaks is often as much as tens of thousands of dollars per case. One outbreak in Washington state in 2018-2019, which involved 72 cases—a small outbreak compared with what states are reporting now—cost US$3.2 million for the public health response, medical expenses, and productivity losses.”

An article about Brian Deer’s investigation into Andrew Wakefield’s claim that the MMR vaccine caused autism. Included were his discoveries that Wakefield had not disclosed that:
* he was paid £435,000 from lawyers suing vaccine manufacturers
* he had patented plans for a rival vaccine (this vaccine never amounted to anything)
* he had recruited of children through litigation networks
* he had misrepresented clinical timelines in patient recordsI do wonder how many tens of thousands of people Wakefield has killed.

Today is the 93rd anniversary of the #ReichstagFire that Hitler used as an excuse to suspend civil liberties. It’s unknown if it was a false flag, though most mainstream historians today lean towards a solo communist who set the fire, potentially with German help though that's been difficult to prove.
“History doesn’t repeat itself, but it often rhymes.” — often credited to Mark Twain, though that’s unlikely

Email I wrote to my US Senators:
-
Comparison of #CaseyMeans specific achievements with surgeons general going back to the year 2000.
-
Comparison of #CaseyMeans qualifications compared with surgeons general back to the year 2000.
-
#CaseyMeans lists herself as “MD” which she is, having earned her degree from Stanford. However her license is currently inactive:
https://omb.oregon.gov/Clients/ORMB/Public/VerificationDetails.aspx?EntityID=1530903
She dropped out of her residency:
You need to have completed residency for board certification, so she was never board certified.
https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/2026/feb/25/casey-means-surgeon-general-nominee
So while her website isn’t incorrect to have “MD” after her name, former doctors often make it clear that they are *former* doctors or have not been practicing. I see no sign of this clarification on her website.

Oh boy… I realize a lot of people, particularly non-F1 fans, really enjoyed #F1TheMovie a lot, and I’m glad. But for me it was one of the worst movies I’ve seen the past few years. I thought the incredibly boring Napoleon was better.
I’ve been a Formula 1 fan since shortly after Niki Lauda’s awful crash at the Nürburgring and shortly before Tom Pryce’s horrifying crash at Kyalami. To me Sonny Hayes was a dick, and the rest of the F1 administration were idiots. And Brad Pitt’s acting — I didn’t even know what I was watching.
