On my way back towards Lauterbrunnen I realized how crowded with tourists this place can become on a weekend.
The main road is a slow crawl of cars, Instagram boyfriends everywhere taking pictures and videos for the next reel. Oh, and there is this other type of tourists. I observed at least 6 basejumpers, out of one had serious trouble getting his parachute stable and I had one person in a wingsuit soaring past me.

Back from my hike towards Rottalhütte.
Did in the end turn around with 150m elevation to go, since I was mindful of the 1850m decend I still had to do and that had a few tricky parts including a uncomfortably loose steel cable in one ride I had to climb up and down.
But I was definitely worth getting up there. The view onto the glaciers was awesome and I found some Edelweiß!

Der Zug steht seit 20+ Minuten am Gleis. Wie kann er dann jetzt erst mit 30min Verspätung abfahren, wegen Verspätung aus vorheriger Fahrt? Und warum fällt euch das 2min vor geplanter Abfahrt auf?
Der #MüNüX ist wirklich ein Trauerspiel. -
The last planned weekend on huts for this year is over.
I hope to squeeze in a few more hut stays, but that's all going to be spontaneous.
This weekend was a nice contrast to last weekend, hiking to Fidererpasshütte, taking the Mindelheimer Klettersteig ferrata to Mindelheimer Hütte and back down.
All with public transport, which was another challenge 😬
