Symfony AI's first pre-release, 1.0.0-BETA1, shipped this week together with a four-week hackathon pushing it and the PHP MCP SDK with real projects: no fixed topics, solo or in a team of two, a public repo plus a 90-second video by 22 November 18:00 CET. The feature set for 1.0 is already settled, so the beta's job now is to surface what's still wrong before the backward compatibility promise locks in at 1.0.0 final.
