Tilted a QR code away from the camera in my damage corpus to see where the reader gives up. It held on at 70 degrees, where the code is a thin slice of itself, and let go at 75. I'd expected the finders to blur together long before that. The corpus is public, though its tilt ladder ends at the last angle that still reads. The failing step was a run of my own. Do you straighten the phone before you scan, or just let the reader cope?
