The Moon is not Earth's only companion. The asteroid 3753 Cruithne takes the same time to orbit the Sun as Earth does, but its orbit is different so it looks as though Cruithne and Earth follow one another. It was first spotted it in 1986 and its path mapped in 1997. #Astronomy
