Mikhail Tkach, head of the investigative journalism department of Ukrayinska Pravda, was detained in Vienna.
The journalist was detained while carrying out an editorial assignment. Together with Tkach, his colleague Yaroslav Bondarenko was in Austria (his whereabouts are unknown to the editorial office).
The editors called this detention illegal and demand his immediate release and explanations from Austrian law enforcement officers.
The editors have no direct contact with Mikhail yet. According to available information, Tkach was taken to a place of detention, and his lawyer is in contact with him.
