On a related note, I'm tired of the cliched retort to people explaining how Israel is committing genocide that goes "Oh, I don't remember you condemning Hamas after 7 October!"
Like, right, yeah, because it went without saying.
I get that some folk might enjoy winding people up by refusing to condemn obviously heinous things even when prompted, but that's because there's something wrong with them. It doesn't mean the rest of us have to wear badges saying "I condemn X, Y and Z".
In 1996 I didn't go round telling people I condemned the Dunblane massacre, lest they somehow thought I was a big fan of it.
