I hate this modern trend of beverages marketing themselves as having no sugar while tasting cloyingly sweet. Almost every single time when I buy beverages with no sugar, it’s because I do not want to taste sweetness. And it’s somewhat difficult to remember all the array of zero-sugar sweeteners that could possibly appear in the ingredients list. Traditionally it was just aspartame. Now it could be maltodextrin, monk fruit extract, stevia, erythritol and probably others I forgot.

I had an extremely weird dream. In the dream I opened the bill from PG&E and it contained a $2 stamp for mailing back my payment. I remember even in my dreamy state I thought how unusually generous they were; why would they give me a $2 stamp when mailing a first-class letter cost so little. Then I woke up.
