Effective 2/13/2023, #EPA has amended its all appropriate inquiries rule. The rule provides a process for evaluating a property’s environmental conditions & assessing potential liability for any contamination to obtain certain protections from liability under #CERCLA. “ The #UniversityofHawaii at Hilo Center for Maunakea Stewardship (CMS) anticipates the road to the summit to remain closed for at least the next couple of days. The recent storm, with winds of more than 100 mph, sleet, freezing rain and heavy snow created a very hard covering of ice and icy snow along with snow drifts on #Maunakea Access Road. The #HSCT triggered a wave of dismissals where #Hawaii charged defendants after a probable cause hearing (as it had done for over 40 years) rather than a grand jury indictment. In Deangelo v.
