Thanks to everyone that replied with helpful comments.
I think that I should go with #tic80 because its free and I can figure out if I want to continue with it or not. Then I can buy the pro version to support the development if I want to keep using it.
There is also good documentation and guides on github about #tic80. Now the hard part is actually learning it and learning the fundamentals of game development.

Should I learn #pico8 or #tic80? I am thinking to learn tic80 because it supports more platforms to support my game on. At the same time pico8 runs better on my powkiddy v90 handheld where I do want my games to run on.
I know python so I think I can learn lua for pico8 or tic80. As well as the other functions to make a game. I never programmed a game except a duck clicker in python tkinter so it would be cool to learn a game engine and make games.

Does anyone know how to generate a menu with my installed applications on #fluxbox and #blackbox on Debian. The fluxbox-generate_menu command does not work on Debian

@[email protected] How great #firsttoeleven is is beyond good. I have them on loop every day. Everything they do is beyond what I can say.
Me myself have not listened to any Billy Idol but the white wedding cover is great.
If your in the us and close to where they are playing live you could buy tickets. I am going to see them live and it will be epic.
Can't say much more about them other then they are GREAT and beyond GREAT.
