#Toronto grew up around #OsgoodeHall’s garden. It remained an oasis of green for hundreds of years as wooden houses, then concrete and steel towers went up. It could not survive Doug Ford’s destruction and #JohnTory’s indifference. It was the last stand. We must do better when choosing our next Mayor and Premier.

#Metrolinx started clear cutting #OsgoodeHall’s 200 year old trees hours before the injunction hearing at 2PM. This Ford led government has no respect for the citizens it represents nor the laws it supposedly governs.
Councillor Josh Matlow was able to reopen the adjacent city sidewalk for which the province didn’t take out permits, stopping the tree cutting.

The Law Society is seeking a court injunction to prevent the Province from cutting the trees until this matter can be resolved.
I'm less than 50/50 on this succeeding. A judge might not find #OsgoodeHall (the building) in any imminent threat which is what the Law Society is claiming – this really about the trees. Hopefully the judge sees fit to put things on pause for consultations and studies to take place.
Now where the fuck is our Mayor? #JohnTory???

#OsgoodeHall is gated off with a half dozen private security guards on the property. Metrolinx plans to cut 12 of the century old mature trees on Saturday. There is ZERO reason to cut them down because there are multiple viable alternatives to building the station. This is a complete disregard for what Torontonians and our elected representatives are asking. #DougFord has been as disastrous for this province and city as I had feared. #ONpoli #TOpoli

Denn die waren im Sommer(!) 2021 abgeschlossen, mit einer ganz normalen RSV Saison die halt später kam als sonst.
Wisst ihr noch? „Sommergrippe“ Wegen der Masken und Nachholeffekte tönte es in den Zeitungen in 2021(!).

@IPEdmonton yesterday I made pie, curd (for tartlets) and syrup with some more of my #haskaps. Everything was good! Haskaps have more pectin than I realized, though, so my syrup set up a bit more than is perfect. But it’s meltable!

@IPEdmonton: A few years ago I took over a #KMX X-Class tadpole recumbent trike (probably made around 2005) from the legacy of a late friend. He planned to convert it to an e-bike so we found it in his barn without rear wheel. The executor gave me four potential rear wheels as they didn't know which one belonged to it. Luckily the right rear wheel was beneath them.
Unfortunately KMX went out of business earlier this year. They seem bankrupt. 🙁
Sad to hear about your stolen ICE trike. 😥
