Dave Sparks (Bit Wrangler)

Received my Home Assistant Connect ZWA-2 Z-Wave controller yesterday and installed it this morning. A bit of a hiccup with the installation instructions, but quickly sorted with the help of Nabu Casa support.

The Zooz ZST39 worked OK, but occasionally seemed to stutter (particular with low-power sensors). There's a firmware update for it, but it appears they haven't yet published it to HA.

I'm hopeful I'll have a better experience with the ZWA-2.

Oh, Sortimo, what have you done to me?

I purchased a few T-BOXX 320 storage boxes about a year ago. I like them, and ordered a few more. While waiting for the new ones, I designed a storage cabinet to hold them.

I was about to glue the cabinet together when the new ones arrived, so I opened up the box and discovered that they redesigned the runner slots. My design uses an 18mm plywood runner that fits the slot on the old style (top).

Had to come up with an alternative plan...
