LLMs can't go "rogue". You don't just accidentally deploy a computer program that can hack people, under conditions in which it will hack them, multiple times. Obviously.
The authorities know this. They know they're letting these companies get away with crimes, and they don't care. Welcome to the financial oligarchy, an inherent feature of the highest stage of capitalism.
